This amp is WONDERFUL! Great cleans and lots of headroom on the clean channel but sweet breakup when pushed. OD channel is really really good. 

THE AMP

The power tubes are 4 Russian military el84m s because the amp is biased hot and can eat new el84's in about a year.  New factory reverb tank installed. Just sent this amp to the manufacturer in St. Louis to have it gone through before selling as I don't want to sell you a bum piece. They said the pre amp tubes should be changed in the near future for best performance. This amp has a loyal cult following and for good reason. It is a classic sleeper. Great tube tones and not too many knobies to screw with. Dial it in and crank it up! This amp has been modified slightly because of the bassy boom it is notorious for. Believe me the bass WAS much more than overwhelming! No parts were removed during the mod only a jumper placed across the internal bass boost circuit. could be changed back to stock in about two minutes if you wanted, but you wouldn't. Trust me. WHAT  A DIFFERENCE! SOUNDS REALLY GREAT! The amp has a foot switch that operates the channels and the mid boost feature. Also has a high end boost but it is not foot pedal operated. I am selling this because it has be come to much to carry around in a van with all the other band equipment. Mainly the cabinet is becoming to much to carry around because it is solid wood and large and  pretty heavy. Trying to buy a smaller combo. 

This amp is very lightly used but may have a few scratches. If that will bother you please look elsewhere. Otherwise a GREAT AMP.
